Privacy notice
This site runs no analytics, shows no advertising and has no forms. We hold personal data only when you write to us or we write to you. This notice says what we keep, why, and for how long.
1Who is responsible
Opsilux is responsible for the personal data described here. Legal name, company number and registered office: to be added when Opsilux Ltd is registered.

2When you visit this site
The site loads nothing from other websites: its fonts and scripts come from opsilux.com itself, and it sets no cookies of its own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and the technical details of each request to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, and may set a cookie that this protection needs. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, so a request may be handled outside the UK. It covers such transfers with the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and with standard contractual clauses.
3When you write to us
We keep your message, your name and email address, and anything you attach, to reply and to do what you ask. Our email is provided by Zoho and stored in its data centres in the European Union. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you and working with you or, when you ask us for a report, taking the steps you asked for before a contract.
We keep correspondence for two years after the last message. What becomes part of a contract or an invoice we keep for as long as UK law requires, usually six years.
4When we write to you first
We write to people at companies that make, test or buy devices with firmware, using work contact details from public sources such as company websites and professional networks. We keep your name, role, company and work email address, and whether you replied. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses.
If you do not reply, we delete your details within a year. If you ask us not to write again, we keep only your email address, on a do-not-contact list, so that we don’t.
5Firmware you send
Firmware rarely contains personal data. We use an image you send only to produce your report, and delete it once you have the report, as set out in the terms of handling.
6Your rights
No one else sees your data, apart from Cloudflare and Zoho as described above and anyone the law requires us to tell. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and we make no automated decisions about you.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Write to hello@opsilux.com; we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
When this notice changes, its revision number and date change with it.
